I possess an undeniable passion for fashion and football! Being one of four siblings that all graduated from Florida State University, college football has always been a major part of my life. As a fashion merchandising and business student in college, I could never find something cute for game days. I didn’t want to wear youth sized football jerseys and/or t-shirts; they were just simply not going to cut it for this fashionista. Instead, I began using the sewing skills my mother taught me at the young age of seven.
For game days, I decided I would design and create custom dresses for my sisters and myself. Girls of all ages would constantly stop us to ask about our apparel. After college, I landed an executive job, but knew that my passion was somewhere else. I decided to leave my job and turn my beloved hobby into a career. I design and sew custom created-to-order game day dresses that one can wear to their favorite sporting events. All the materials used are put together based on the college and/or professional team’s colors that one desires.
I wanted to make dresses that would show one’s team spirit, but yet still be remarkably stylish. The dresses I create are feminine, unique, and will undoubtedly stand out in a crowd! I knew I would most likely never come across a collegiate sundress of any kind so that’s when I decided to design my own and soon Haute Fan Couture was born!
